Parrolabs worked with its recruiters throughout Engineers work towards a common goal. This model ensures that Engineers are not overwhelmed by the size of the team, and can maintain being productive. As the availability and willingness to switch employers of great engineers in the current market can limit growth, Kin Insurance needed to use multiple channels to obtain great engineers. When Co-founder Steven Wooten, reached out to us, Parrolabs was engaged to augment and recruit several Latin American Ruby on Rails Engineers to work as an integral part of the Kin Insurance Engineering Teams.
Latin America to recruit and select the best available Ruby on Rails engineers. There is a shortage of English Speaking Senior Ruby on Rails level engineers, and thus we wrote over 1000 Engineering profiles obtained from LinkedIn and other sources. Eventually, Parrolabs was able to engage with around 50 Engineers of which 5 were placed at Kin Insurance. The ratio seems low, but the quality is an important factor and many were discarded due to the English level or quality of the Engineer itself.

Meanwhile, Kin Insurance has continued to grow and has been bought by a SPAC. It continues to mature and its Engineering Teams will continue to grow and Kin Insurance will continue to enhance the US Home Insurance Market. Parrolabs reached out to over 1000 Engineers to make them enthusiastic about this job. 50+ Engineers responded of which a good percentage started the recruitment process. Currently, Parrolabs has 5 Engineers placed with Kin Insurance.
