In the fall of 2015, we were approached to support the National Geographic Society with one of the their informative websites and they asked for a dedicated front-end developer. Within the team, we had one front-end developer working with them for 6 months full time.
The parrolabs developer worked on the voyager project and brought together images, music and different elements within the site. The project was managed by an external party. The project was completed on time and on budget.
The needs for National Geographic were Unique in the sense that they had a team in place and thus wanted to use Parrolabs Skill Enhance where they got one developer for a unique period of time.
In this case, the developer had enough experience to work independently and as the client was happy with the progress, we led him blend into the team for as much as possible.
After the six months of working with National Geographic. The project was completed and the Voyager website was launched. The Agency that contracted Parrolabs was very happy with us and continues to be a client today.
